How Should I Start Running After A Stress Fracter?

I got a stress fracture in the end of may and i have had to were the air boot for 8 weeks. Before i got the fracture i was running about 5 miles everyday and taking either saturday or sunday off. During my time off of running i have been doing lap swim and running in the water three times a week at a indoor pool will this help my endurance? I run the mile and two mile in track and i also do cross country. What i was wondering when the eight week are up what should i start doing for running workouts ?
